I hope you have noticed the new paint work on the building.  Sandy showed the committee different quotes that he had gotten, and I would say we picked the best one. They did a good job of matching the past colors. 

A new dishwasher is being added to the inside of the building. We will no longer have to worry about water on the floor as we clean the dishes. We are going to be ready when it is safe to have food in the building.

The big project, which is the playground, is going well and is moving along. The playground equipment is up and concrete was poured this week. We now have to have the equipment come back in to move the gravel and wood chips into the area around the equipment.

The Fall Clean-Up Day is planned for Saturday, October 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A rain day is planned for October 9. The city will do a final pick up of sticks during the week of Oct. 11. After that, we hope to have the grounds ready for winter.
