As we’ve joined back together a few questions have surfaced. The Covid task force has come together to determine that we do not need to sanitize the name tags. This is based on data from the CDC dated April 5, 2021.
Data from surface survival studies indicate a 99% reduction in infectious SARS COVID-19 and other coronaviruses can be expected under typical indoor environmental conditions within 72 hours on common non-porous surfaces like stainless steel plastic and glass. We continue to request that you take your name tag when you come in and return it to one of the greeters at the end of the service. We will use this to track attendance and contact trace if needed. The name tags will then be returned to the case on the wall and it will be closed for the week which will give us that 72 hours time.
We appreciate everyone’s patience as we venture into this unknown territory together. Remember we are all in this together!
