Last week, I meant to mention the Vision/Mission Retreat coming up Saturday, September 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Why are we doing this again (I may have heard you say, or read your mind?) Because it’s been more than six years since we last affirmed a vision and mission and: we have many new members that weren’t involved last time. Our congregation is not the same one as then, pre-pandemic, pre-many other things. And we have a new minister who wants to help us carry out our collective vision and mission, and how can he possibly know what that is if we don’t meet, discuss, and make our opinions on the subject known to him?  

I won’t bore you further with my “prattling on” about it. There will be much put out in the eNews and in our Facebook groups. Read up on what’s in store, and get signed up to be there on the September 16.  This is important stuff to our Fellowship – and really to each of us individually.
