Sunday, November 5, at 12:15 PM
Learning is a journey. Opening our awareness to our privilege and the structural racism around us is an on-going process. The Social Justice Team is having its second Anti-Racism Discussion Group on Sunday, November 5, at 12:15-1:45 PM in person at UUFoM. We will be discussing the second half of Kendi’s “How to be an Anti-Racist,” with chapters 10-18.
This is an open group, so anyone can drop in and attend. We will meet roughly monthly, on zoom or hybrid Zoom/in person over the winter. We will share our reflections and learnings from each book, and our first meeting on September 24 was a rich discussion.
We hope you can join us, and feel free to bring a sandwich! If you have questions, contact Susan Mayer or Jennifer Streid-Mullen.
