Dirt Communion

Sunday, April 27

Join us for UUFoM’s Dirt Communion as we celebrate our connection to the Earth and the grounding power of nature. Bringing soil from a place meaningful to you—your garden, a planter, or a special spot—symbolizes our deep-rooted relationship with the land and with each other. As we blend our dirt together in community, we honor the ways the Earth supports and sustains us. Dirt collection will take place outside before the service starting at 9:00 AM. Our dirt will be combined. Rev. Eric will offer a blessing of the dirt after the service at 11:45 AM, and afterward, we will return the enriched soil to our memorial garden or you may bring some back to your homes. Small cups are available—see Wendy if you need one. Let’s gather, ground, and grow together!
